Principle
This website is operated under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, its requirements apply in addition.
I only process the data needed to run the website and to answer your enquiries.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted in Germany (EU). When you visit it, the server stores technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, referrer and browser identification.
This data is used for secure operation and error analysis. It is not combined with other data and is deleted once the retention period ends.
Contact form
If you write to me via the form, I process your name, email address, optionally your company, the selected topic and your message.
The enquiry is forwarded to me by email through a self-hosted automation service and stored as a contact in a self-hosted contact management system so that I can answer and follow it up. It is not used for advertising or newsletters without your explicit consent.
The data is deleted when it is no longer needed to handle your enquiry and no statutory retention obligation applies.
Web analytics
For statistical analysis of visits I use the self-hosted software Matomo. It works without cookies.
If your browser signals “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control”, no data is collected.
Disclosure
Data is not passed on to third parties, except to technical service providers that are necessary for operation and contractually bound, or where a legal obligation exists.
Representative in the EU
Representative under Art. 27 GDPR: André Beherzig, Steinsee 3, 99755 Hohenstein, Germany. You can also send requests to privacy@beherzig-group.ch.
Your rights
You can request information about your data as well as its correction, deletion or restriction of processing. You can object to processing and withdraw any consent at any time.
Please contact privacy@beherzig-group.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or a competent supervisory authority in the EU.
